GLENCOE  - THE WONDER OF SCOTLAND
The Scotsman newspaper asked its readers to vote for the Seven Wonders of Scotland. 50,000 voted. Glencoe came 4th, the first place outside Edinburgh. 1500 cyclists were asked for their opinion of the Most Scenic route in Britain. They chose the road to Glencoe from Loch Lomond and across the Moor of Rannoch.
A world survey chose the Buchaille Etive Mhor as 9th in the list of the World’s Greatest Views. Sydney Opera House was first.
