WEST COAST OF SCOTLAND AND GLENCOE BEACHES AND BAYS
Cuil Bay, Duror. This unexpected bay nearby is so beautiful, you absolutely must visit it. Go to Duror, turn right just past the shop along a little road over the river and it unfolds before you. You can walk round the headland if you wish.
The most beautiful beaches in the Highlands are a lovely drive away. Take the Road to the Isles towards Mallaig and stop at the beautiful white sands of Morar just past Arisaig. Rocky inlets everywhere, see the Inner Hebrides around you.
On your way South, you’ll pass the lovely Tralee Bay, good for family swimming and to the North of Oban, you’ll come across the local’s public beach at Ganavan Sands. You’ve just passed the caves where Megalithic people used to live. The castle above you is Dunollie.
