SCOTLAND IS AT ITS MOST GLORIOUS IN NOVEMBER in the autumn and winter months The colours even in January are russet brown, chocolate, gold, yellow and red. No wonder Partick Thistle football club chose them as their official colours – class, you see. The roads are clear, (see our Touring Scotland page) the weather can be surprisingly mild along this coasline - much warmer than in Glencoe itself. It can rain with the velocity of bullets, of course, but it is usually over quickly. . And there is no better place for daily trips than from Glencoe .
