Glencoe deer
GLENCOE WILD LIFE , SEA CENTRES AND GARDENS
There are more than 1,000 deer in Glencoe in Winter. We took these pics from the road in Nov

Pop down to the bay, look for the herons, in Cuil Bay you’ll see guillemots and gannets, finches in the back garden, shags and cormorants on the rocks, there are two different rocks for seals within 20 minutes. Supposedly there are otters by Kentallen old pier though we have not seen them. See buzzards along the road, go to Glencoe for the deer – but they stay high in the summer. Sea eagles? Ask RSPB in Mull. See Golden Eagles try Ariundle nature reserve at Strontian just across the Corran ferry, or try Glen Coe, Glen Etive or Glennachulish. They are there, too.

SEA LIFE CENTRES. Try the Fort William Marine Exhibition at the Underwater Centre. The  Centre is beside the Lochaber College  Alternatively, find the pretty one. Go in the other direction towards Oban. Go over the new bridge at Loch Creran and you’ll find the popular Sea Life Centre about 5 miles down on the right, well signposted.

GARDENS  Just sit and enjoy the views from our own cottage mountain garden. Otherwise you have prizewinning gardens within 30 minutes.
